Robert L. Parker, Executive Director, NewBridge Services, Inc., brings 30 years of community mental health leadership and experience to NewBridge. Under his leadership, NewBridge has grown beyond its original community roots to now serve communities throughout Passaic and Morris counties, employing more than 175 professionals at 20 locations.
NewBridge's response to the community's needs under Mr. Parker's forward-thinking leadership is evident in the ever-growing complement of programs and services that NewBridge now offers, including NewBridge SAIL (Senior Assistance for Independent Living) for senior citizens, supportive housing, substance abuse and counseling programs for adults, Project 70001 Jobs Plus for young adults, prevention and education programs, and play therapy for children, among others.
Since 1992, Mr. Parker has served as Executive Director, where he has been responsible for overseeing operations and program development. Previously, he served as Associate Director for Planning and Development and Youth Services Director. Prior to joining NewBridge, Mr. Parker worked at Bayshore Youth Services Bureau, where he served as an Assistant Bureau Director, Outreach Services Director and Program Director.
His active leadership in mental health advocacy groups includes the following memberships:- Chair, Employment, Support and Rehabilitation Services Committee, Governor Codey's Task Force on Mental Health

He holds a master's degree in public administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ, and a bachelor's degree in community leadership and development from Springfield College in Springfield, MA.
