Ronald J. Surlak has more than 25 years experience in corporate accounting and finance. At NewBridge, he is responsible for establishing, implementing and coordinating all accounting policies, procedures and systems for the 175-person agency and its three affiliates. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Mr. Surlak has extensive experience in budget preparation and analysis, financial reporting and financial and operational audits.
Prior to joining NewBridge, Mr. Surlak served as the Chief Financial Officer and Controller at First Hope Bank in Hope, NJ, where he oversaw the accounting and financial operations of the business, coordinated the company's interest rate risk management, and managed the company's investment portfolio. During his professional tenure, he also served as a Senior Internal Auditor at Carteret Savings Bank in Morristown, NJ.
Mr. Surlak earned a BA in Business Administration and a BS in Accounting from Upsala College. He is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
