Position Title: Substance Abuse Clinician (part time)

Responsible To: Supervising Clinician

Qualifications:

BA, BS, BSW, or MA, MSW, CADC required. Minimum of three years of experience providing individual, family, group therapy and psychiatric crisis intervention/assessment and addiction services to adult populations. Strong assessment and communication skills. Knowledgeable about evidence-based practices such as IODT.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individual, family, group therapy and psychoeducation group services to adults, and their families as needed.
  2. Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team for the purposes of providing quality integrated mental health and substance abuse treatment services.
  3. Consultation and education with clinical staff community services, e.g. criminal justice system.
  4. Attends supervision, treatment team, and other staff meetings, and participates in NewBridge committee work, as assigned.
  5. Works with the Supervisor and Director of Partial Care in evaluating, modifying, and further developing the program to meet clients needs.
  6. Document all interventions in a timely, accurate fashion.
  7. Other duties as assigned.
