NewBridge Expands Free Service to Passaic County Seniors
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ- January 26, 2007 - NewBridge Services, Inc., a provider of behavioral health and education programs and services, announces the expansion of its enhanced services to Passaic County seniors.
NewBridge SAIL (Senior Assistance for Independent Living) is a free program for residents over the age of 60 that provides links to services to help people remain living independently in their homes, including nutrition programs, form completion, home repairs, transportation, healthcare assistance, adult day care, legal counseling, procurement of entitlements, and hospice.
"Our expanded staff at SAIL is now available to provide important case management services to seniors in need," said Robert L. Parker, Executive Director, NewBridge. "We are pleased to have broadened this program's efforts into Upper Passaic County, where a need for senior assistance has clearly been identified."
This expansion of the SAIL program was made possible by a grant from United Way of Passaic County. Seniors and caregivers interested in more information in these services can call (973) 839-2520 and ask to speak with a NewBridge SAIL caseworker.
