NewBridge Intensive Outpatient Program Names Director
Wayne, NJ - October 15, 2007 - NewBridge announces that Michele Iannucci, CPS, LCADC, LPC, has been named Director of the NewBridge Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for substance abuse.
Iannucci will oversee the operation of this comprehensive 12-week wellness and recovery program based in Wayne, NJ, that will integrate assessments, individualized treatment, referrals, education, case management, individual, group and family therapy, and continuing care services.
"Ms. Iannucci brings her broad leadership in addictions, prevention, counseling and business to this new program," said L. Michelle Borden, MSW, LCSW, Associate Executive Director, NewBridge. "Her keen insight into the multifaceted issues of substance abuse will ensure that clients receive the best treatment possible on their road to wellness and recovery."
Iannucci served previously as NewBridge's Director of Prevention Services, where she headed school- and community-based prevention, education and crisis services for children, teachers and parents. Under Iannucci's leadership last year alone, more than 5,000 children across North Jersey attended NewBridge programs on bullying, self-esteem, respect, tolerance, stress and anxiety, relationships, substance and suicide prevention, and more.
Iannucci is an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison and at Caldwell College. She also has a private practice in Caldwell, NJ. She holds two bachelor's degrees in business from Fairleigh Dickinson University and two master's degrees in Applied Social and Community Psychology and Addiction Counseling, also from Fairleigh Dickinson.

For the past two years, NewBridge has worked in conjunction with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey on progressive research-based treatment of dually diagnosed individuals.
