NewBridge Co-Founder Receives Award on 45th Anniversary
Pompton Plains, NJ- April 7, 2008 - Herb Irwin of Pompton Plains was presented the 2008 Helping People Move Forward award for his role in founding NewBridge in 1963. Mr. Irwin was a decorated war hero who was present for the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima. The NewBridge award was presented by Robert L. Parker, Executive Director, NewBridge, at its annual gala on April 3 at The Villa in Mountain Lakes.
