Parker Named Nonprofit Business Development Person of Year
NewBridge Executive Director Awarded for Affordable Housing Efforts

Parker was nominated for his work through NewBridge, a nonprofit provider of behavioral health and education programs and services, to develop a plan to create 100 new units of affordable housing in the next four years. Parker's award was presented at the chamber's economic outlook luncheon in Morristown, by former Morris County Assemblywoman and longtime colleague, The Honorable Carol J. Murphy.
"It is an honor to present this award to Robert Parker, who combines both heart and smarts into a career that exemplifies how progress in business is truly accomplished," said Murphy.
Parker was nominated for the award by NewBridge Board of Trustees President Nancy Lebo of Ringwood, and received letters of support from Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11) and Dr. Debra Wentz, Executive Director of New Jersey Association of Mental Health Agencies (NJAMHA).
