NewBridge Links Morris County Businesses With Summer Help
With warmer weather around the corner, now is the time to start thinking about how your business can benefit from summer help. Be among the growing list of area businesses that tap into the resources of NewBridges Summer Youth Employment program.

This program has been successfully matching local teenagers with companies looking for summer help for several years. By signing up now, a business can fill both paid and volunteer positions for seasonal workers with Morris County teens ages 14 to 17 without the time-consuming and costly inconvenience of recruitment efforts.

Mary Collitto, former director for Mountain Lakes Country Day School, was delighted with the results of the program. The teen we hired came in here formally dressed and prepared with working papers and a resume, she said. We also found it helpful that NewBridge follows up; its as if the teens are doubly supervised. We would absolutely recommend this program.

Teens are carefully screened and matched with prospective employers whose job openings match their interests. Once hired, the teens receive continued support from NewBridge throughout the summer. Many students are then offered year-round positions.

The NewBridge Summer Youth Employment program is a great resource for local businesses to get connected with enthusiastic summer workers, and help give teens valuable work experience, said Jill Worrall, Summer Youth Employment Coordinator, NewBridge.
