Free career program empowers youths
NewBridge 70001 JOBS PLUS, a free education and career preparation program that helps young adults get a second chance at success, is now accepting new students from Morris, Sussex and Warren counties.
"The traditional high school setting isn't for everyone, but this innovative program provides a unique opportunity for young adults to excel academically and socially. What better way to start the new year than on the path to a successful future?" said Robert L. Parker, executive director at NewBridge.
NewBridge 70001 JOBS PLUS provides young adults between the ages of 16 and 21 with an opportunity to receive their state-issued high school diploma and free group and individual educational, job training and placement assistance, as well as free transportation within Morris County.
NewBridge 70001 JOBS PLUS receives funding from the Morris County Board of Freeholders, the Morris/Sussex/Warren County Office of Workforce Development, United Way of Morris County, Verizon and North Fork Bank, as well as residents and business owners who believe in this program and its students.
