Partner Agency Named New Jersey's 2008 Outstanding Provider

NewBridge Services recognized for its dedication, consumer satisfaction, and extraordinary contributions.

United Way of Morris County congratulates NewBridge Services on being named the 2008 Outstanding Provider by the New Jersey Association of Mental Health Agencies (NJAMHA). This stellar non-profit agency has provided affordable and innovative behavioral health care services to clients and their families in Morris and Passaic counties for 45 years.

NewBridge received this prestigious honor on April 22nd at NJAMHA’s Courage and Compassion Awards Dinner. The annual ceremony recognizes the extraordinary work and commitment of the state’s non-profit community mental health care providers and the front-line employees who are dedicated to serving individuals affected by mental illness. NewBridge was honored alongside six outstanding employees from across New Jersey.

With 31 locations and 200 staff members, NewBridge served more than 10,000 men, women, and children in 2007 alone. The United Way partner agency provides counseling, youth programs, senior services, substance abuse prevention and treatment, and housing. Just recently, NewBridge added new services to its list of offerings, including caregiver respite and counseling for Morris County residents.

United Way of Morris County is a proud supporter of NewBridge Services. Together, United Way and NewBridge, work to ensure that Morris County residents have access to education and affordable housing to promote a stable environment for a successful future.

How can you support NewBridge?

United Way of Morris County’s Youth Leadership and Service Council is holding a special fundraiser – a Wiimbledon Tournament - to support NewBridge’s 70001 JOBS PLUS program, an employment and education program for young adults who found difficulty assimilating in traditional schools. The program empowers, inspires, and provides associates with a second chance, as well as the necessary tools to lead successful and productive lives.
