NewBridge named New Jersey's Outstanding Provider

Local nonprofit recognized for dedication, consumer satisfaction, extraordinary contributions

West Milford — NewBridge Services, a nonprofit provider of behavioral health and education programs and services, has been selected by the New Jersey Association of Mental Health Agencies as 2008's Outstanding Provider.

"NewBridge's ability to continuously develop innovative programs and services, consumer satisfaction, collaboration and staff development epitomize the traits we sought to honor," said Debra Wentz, Ph.D, Chief Executive Officer of NJAMHA. "New Jersey is better served thanks to the extraordinary work NewBridge does on behalf of residents in need."

With 31 locations across Morris and Passaic counties, NewBridge served more than 10,000 men, women and children last year through counseling, youth programs, senior services, substance abuse prevention and treatment, and housing.

"NewBridge continues to keep its finger on the pulse of the community and offer the programs and services that are most needed. We are proud to see this hard work, dedication and desire to help be recognized, and accept this award on behalf of our staff who work around the clock to help people move forward in life," said Robert L.
