NewBridge services expands senior program

NewBridge Services, Inc., a provider of behavioral health and education programs and services, has been awarded a $25,000 grant from United Way of Passaic County, enabling NewBridge to expand its highly successful senior program to senior citizens in Passaic County.

The grant will be used to enhance care management capabilities of NewBridge SAIL (Senior Assistance for Independent Living), a free program for residents over the age of 60 that provides links to services to help people remain living independently in their homes.

"Thanks to this grant, we are now able to bring on additional staff to SAIL, who will provide important case management services to seniors in need," said Robert L. Parker, Executive Director, NewBridge. "We are grateful to United Way, as their support will help lead the way to a better quality of life for our senior neighbors in Passaic County."

Seniors and caregivers interested in more information in these services can call NewBridge SAIL at (973) 839-2520. Those interested in making a tax-free donation or in volunteering their time to support NewBridge programs and services can contact Nina McCormack, Development and Marketing Director, at 973-839-2521, ext. 420 or nmccormack@newbridge.org.
