NewBridge 70001 JOBS PLUS is a youth employment and education program for Morris County young adults aged 16 to 21 who have dropped out of school. NewBridge 70001 JOBS PLUS empowers, inspires and provides associates with a second chance, as well as the necessary tools to lead successful and productive lives. With nearly a 90% success rate, 70001 JOBS PLUS provides a second chance for Morris County high school students to receive GED preparation and testing, pre-employment training, life skills, educational services, counseling and job search assistance.

70001 JOBS PLUS works one-on-one with students their strengths, personality and career aptitude. By offering employment training, resumé writing and interviewing skills, confidence building and, most importantly, a support system -- the 70001 JOBS PLUS staff prepares the young associates for their next step into the world of work.

This program has proven to be exceptionally successful for young adults who often transform from young adults with seemingly no direction into confident members of society with promise for the future. Many NewBridge 70001 JOBS PLUS graduates secure a career-oriented job or continue their education at a college or trade school.

Opportunity for Businesses

New and unique to this program is the relationship NewBridge has with businesses. Through its partnerships with Northern New Jersey companies, 70001 JOBS PLUS associates are offered job shadowing, internship and apprentice opportunities. This aspect of the program helps the associates experience first-hand what their chosen profession may be like -- and, if needed, offers the opportunity to re-focus their career and educational efforts.
