He believes his severe mental illness would have resigned him to life in a psychiatric facility if not for NewBridge.

Steven moved into NewBridge’s supportive housing 20 years ago and learned to manage his illness at NewBridge Cossroads, one of our day treatment programs. He was able to get a job and eventually move into his own apartment – the first time he’d ever lived on his own. To top it off, he’s engaged to be married.
