NewBridge's Claudia Mattson Named First G.E.M.S. Honoree

When Sharika Taylor joined NewBridge's Senior Assistance for Independent Living (SAIL) as a case manager, she quickly found a mentor in Claudia Mattson.

Mattson drew on her experience as a longtime case manager to help prepare Taylor for her new role, offering guidance throughout onboarding and beyond.

"She has dedicated so much of her own time to ensuring I was prepared to be a great case manager," Taylor said. "Claudia continues to showcase her helpfulness through every challenge I encounter with clients. She steps up all the time—even with her own busy workload—and demonstrates great leadership.”

Mattson was selected as the first recipient of NewBridge's Greatness Earned through Meaningful Service (G.E.M.S.) award for her mentorship and leadership.

NewBridge created G.E.M.S. to recognize employees who make a meaningful difference for clients, colleagues and the organization. NewBridge employees can nominate coworkers using the G.E.M.S. nomination form.
